Our Baguio vacation started last April 7 and since then we have not seen Dad. After 3 weeks, his schedule finally allowed him to visit us here in Baguio. Though his visit was short, the kids and I were glad to see him.
After attending mass at the Baguio Cathedral we went to the mall for lunch and eventually spent the rest of the afternoon there. We had to shop for baby's things and go to the grocery. The kids stayed at a playroom of course where they'd be happiest. I needed the walking exercise as i'm due anytime soon. Dad on the other hand was exhausted before I was. He never really liked walking or shopping.
The next day, Dad and I had a last minute shopping also for baby's things. We ate at Venice where I had the eat all you can mongolian while Dad opted for the eat all you can pasta. We were so full! then we headed home to spend more time with the kids.
He left at around 2 a.m. Tuesday...we wish he'll be here this coming weekend.

Princess Dora
Dora the Explorer is Viona's favorite cartoon character to date. She sooo loves Dora she knows a handful of words in spanish that I don't even know! Yesterday, while Viona and Gabo were playing they found a costume that my sister sent for Gabo. Unfortunately for Gabo, it doesn't fit her. Fortunately for Viona, it's a perfect fit! And the best thing about it, it's the exact costume that Dora wore as a princess complete with the head gear! Viona was so excited to try it on and asked me immediately to give her a bath so she could wear it. She matched it with her ever favorite silver shoes. Viona was Princess Dora for a day...and she was very happy.

tic.. tac..tic..tac
I feel like a bomb ready to explode anytime. Like any expectant mom, i'm both excited to see but scared of the delivery. I keep myself busy by preparing the things baby and i would need once the big day comes. There are still a lot of things that should be bought for baby. Although the essentials like the crib, stroller, etc are already at hand. We kept the baby things Viona used so it's just a matter of getting it cleaned so that baby can use it. The clothes will all be new since Ate Viona cannot hand down her baby clothes to her brother coz they were mostly in pink. Since I am confined at home due to the frequent premature contractions that I experience everyday and also because I am too lazy to dress up and go shopping, Teng volunteered to do the shopping. I know it's not exactly his cup of tea but i know he'll enjoy shopping clothes and baby stuff for his baby junior. =)
